And so I've been busy with doing "online stuff". I am trying to get a part time job from home. And there's this one company that has given me some tasks to do for the past few days like online research and creating business emails. They said that there's going to be a 1-week trial period before I could start. Then I realized yesterday, after lots of exchange of emails, that the 1-week trial period would actually start today. So all that online research and stuff were just for free. They said it was some sort of "evaluation" before they proceed with the real thing. Anyway, there's no other company interested enough to give me a job so I took it.
It's almost 8:00 a.m. and I still haven't received any word from them, like to what kind of new tasks that I have to do for the next few days. I just hope that I'll be able to concentrate, there's been a lot of construction going on around here. I can hear a lot of welding, banging on the walls, hammering, etc.
Last weekend was the 3-day warehouse sale of toy kingdom in megatrade hall in megamall. I so hate it I wasn't able to come. First because no one wants to go with me and second because I don't have enough money. Oh well, I guess the second one is the only reason. I have been going to that warehouse sale since forever! This is the first time that I missed it. We're saving for the baby, and so I really do not want to spend on stuff these days. Its kinda difficult you know. You used to buy lots and lots of stuff for yourself and for other people, and now all you can think of is your baby. Its like everything you earn should just go for the baby. Its so freakin hard to be a parent. Don't you think? As they say, everything will be worth it once the baby comes out. I really hope so. I am looking forward for it. So for my nephews and nieces, better luck next year then!

Online Job
For the past few months, I have been searching different kind of online-related jobs in Sulit.com, Craigslist.com, Bestjobs.ph, Jobstreet, etc. I have probably sent more than 50 resumes to different companies. Some of them replied, and gave interesting offers. I just noticed though, that it's not really the "proper" rate they should be giving for an online job - whether its internet marketing, blogging, PTC or online selling. I was also very careful with my resume. I didn't put that much information and detail to my resume that I'm sending to them. I had it edited several times, removing my real address, phone number and other information on my past employers.
Today I received an email from a company in Singapore. They're offering a job as a Virtual assistant. I just received my first task today. Although this is only a trial period for 1 week (yes, because its going to be my first time to do these kind of stuff), I think I can make it. I just wish that they will give a "competitive" compensation. We'll see after one week. =)

A good way to start?
It's a gloomy morning again. No typhoons, which is very good. But the rain is really making me sick, literally. It's been raining for how many days now, on and off. And now, I have colds and my throat is already sore. I can't be sick, not at this time, not at this condition. I can't even afford to be sick! Right now I'm still thinking what would be the main content of this blog. I kept thinking, would it be about new technology, fashion, food, photography, crafting, scrapbooking, relationships, my pregnancy, my dog, my husband-to-be or would it be just me? Then another thought comes in, who would read my blog anyway? Why would they be interested in my everyday life? I guess lots of people doesn't care. They just want to read other people's lives and what's happening - the ups and downs, interesting events, etc. Just like in showbiz.
Honestly, I am getting tired of writing in my journals. I think I have 5 of them. My first would be a journal I bought years ago at this very nice bookstore in Greenhills (and now its not there anymore). I use it rarely, like when I'm feeling the happiest or feeling the loneliest. Then I have a different journal for my everyday stuff, so I wouldn't forget what happened on that day. Then there's my pregnancy journal - for me to write check-up appointments, extraordinary things that's happening that involves me and my baby, all the firsts, etc. The last two would be a journal for my upcoming wedding and for a business that I wanted to put up but for some reason, just can't find time.. Oh well, everyone has excuses right? Through the years, I have noticed my handwriting is becoming worse! I so remember it back in high school, I was very good at caligraphy. Oh my, what happened? The reason - the invention of computers, yeah that's it! I guess technology has its own pros and cons.
My day hasn't ended yet but I'll just keep posting whatever I feel like posting. =)
